\mathcal{words} 혹은 \cal{words}로 사용한다. 수학에서는 푸리에 변환, 라플라스 변환등의 작용소를 표기할 때 주로 쓰인다.  대문자만 가능하다. 소문자는 전혀 다른 문자가 렌더링된다.

그리그 문자, 굵은 그리스 문자

그리스 문자는 \bf가 아니라 \boldsymbol을 써야 굵은 글씨체가 나온다. 또한 대문자가 알파벳과 같은 경우엔 따로 존재하지 않는다. 예를 들어 A\AlphaAA와 같으므로 존재하지 않는다.

칠판볼드체 Blackboard Bold

\usepackage{amsfonts}를 불러와야 사용할 수 있다. \mathbb{words}로 사용한다. 수학에서는 주로로 수 집합을 표기할 때 사용한다. N,Z,Q,R,C\Bbb{N},\Bbb{Z},\Bbb{Q},\Bbb{R},\Bbb{C}는 각각 자연수, 정수, 유리수, 실수, 복소수 집합을 의미한다. 대문자만 가능하다.
