Bティッピングポイント

力学系、特に開放系においてシステムの外部パラメータがある臨界値を越えて状態の遷移transitionが起きるティッピングを 分岐によるティッピングbifurcation induced tipping、あるいは簡単に B-ティッピングB-tippingという。
説明
上の図は安定であった状態が時間とともにシステム自体が変化して不安定になり、別の状態へ急激に移行するB-ティッピングを描いている2。基本的に分岐と関係があるため、アトラクタ自体が消失または出現したり安定性が逆転したりするようなシステムでは、分岐パラメータが時間依存になることで確定的にB-ティッピングが生じうる。
